Installation & Usage Notes for Filter Presses

Filter press oil lines run along the frame with complex routing and multiple bend points. Hoses move repeatedly as filter plates open and close; under pressure the EN853 2SN hydraulic hose shortens by 3–4%, so always leave slack during installation — never pull taut. If printed markings on the hose body appear twisted, internal stress concentration is already accelerating wire braid fatigue and the routing must be corrected immediately. Use crimp-type fittings only — never nut-type connections, as reciprocating vibration will loosen them within hours. The filter press environment is wet with chemical slurry splash; although the outer cover is wear- and oil-resistant, regular inspection for cracking, bulging, and abrasion is essential.
