API 16C Oil Field Choke & Kill Hose

Oil Field Choke & Kill Hose is a high-pressure flexible conveying component specially designed for choke & kill operations, well control and Kelly drilling in onshore and offshore oilfields. Manufactured in strict accordance with API 16C international standard, its working pressure ranges from 2000 to 15000PSI. It features excellent mud resistance, high pressure resistance, pulse resistance and corrosion resistance, serving as a core safety equipment in Kelly drilling, choke manifold, kill system and mud circulation system.

The hose can stably transport drilling mud, kill fluid, high-pressure fluid and other media, with a burst pressure more than 3 times the working pressure. It fully meets the requirements of high pressure, high-frequency vibration, rotation and corrosion in complex oilfield conditions, and is widely used in onshore oilfields, desert oilfields, offshore platforms and shale gas drilling.

The Oil Field Choke & Kill Hose adopts a multi-layer composite reinforced structure. The inner tube is made of special synthetic rubber with mud resistance, oil resistance and erosion resistance, which can resist the erosion of drilling fluid and kill fluid for a long time without cracking or leakage. The reinforcement layer consists of 4–6 layers of high-strength steel wire spiral winding, ensuring no deformation or burst under 2000–15000PSI high pressure, with excellent anti-pulse and anti-rotation fatigue performance.

The outer cover is made of wear-resistant, ozone-resistant, salt-spray-resistant and aging-resistant rubber, adapting to offshore salt spray, land wind sand, mechanical friction and temperature changes. The fittings are integrated crimping type, made of carbon steel or stainless steel, with reliable sealing and firm connection, complying with API 16C standards.

This hose is mainly used for choke & kill systems, Kelly drilling, mud circulation and well control in onshore oilfields and offshore drilling platforms. It adapts to deserts, Gobi, plains and other land drilling environments, and resists mud erosion and mechanical impact. On offshore platforms, it withstands high humidity, salt spray and hull shaking.

It is also suitable for workover, choke manifold connection and emergency kill operations. Calibers from 2 to 6 inches and customizable lengths are available. Each hose passes high-pressure test, pulse test and sealing test, making it the standard high-pressure hose for oilfield drilling and well control.
